Called to Serve - Elder Dallin Farrell -
This picture by Doc Christensen has inspired Dallin to prepare each day with the full armor of God. The Savior's reflection is a reminder of whose name each missionary is taking on as he goes forth to serve. Dallin's mom will maintain this blog from July 2013 until July 2015.

September 7, 2013 - Malaga 4!
Dallin's trainer will be Elder Cortés and they will serve together in Malaga 4
THANK YOU Sister Deere for posting these pictures!
1) This picture was taken in the chapel where we would watch General Conference, where we had Zone Conference, etc. It's the chapel where the Málaga 1st and 2nd Wards meet.
2) When I was there about 8 years ago, there were only 3 Málaga Wards. The 3rd Ward was the strongest, most active, biggest Ward in the whole mission. And that Ward just split to create the 4th Ward a couple of weeks ago. So I'm sure there is good energy there, especially in the missionary effort. And it means he gets to meet in an actual church BUILDING instead of a store front.
3) Málaga as a city is AWESOME! It's very diverse, definitely a cross-section of a lot of Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Geographically, that makes sense anyway. But of all the cities in Spain, Málaga is probably more diverse than anywhere else. He's going to meet people from all over the world!
He lucked out big time for his first assignment. I'm jealous!
This is SO awesome! For a number of reasons.
