January 5, 2015 - Happy 2015!

Concillio - January 6, 2015

Well family, it is here! I can´t believe that 2015 has already snuck up on us. Now it is just fast. I am happy to hear that you all passed a happy and safe new years, we did as well! New Years eve we got permission from President Deere to stay out until 12. We got together, the 6 of us in our ward, and had a nice dinner on Lechon (baby pig) at our bishop’s house. It was actually quite weird... kind of gross to see the tail and the teeth, I prefer the traditional Christmas Honey ham... ha but it was a good experience and really nice of the Bishop and his family to have us.

This past week was a really good week for Elder Wiley and I. We were really blessed and saw the most work that we have had in my time here. As I have mentioned, the holidays are pretty slow, but things really picked up this week and we saw multiple miracles. Right now we are teaching two investigators from Guinea Ecuatoreal. They are really receptive and are progressing really well. She was able to come to church yesterday and she really enjoyed it. We are looking forward to inviting them to baptism this upcoming week for the 24th. We are teaching her cousin too, please keep them in your prayers.

We are getting more work in our area; yesterday we saw many miracles and investigators at church which was so nice because it is so far away. Today we are writing from Málaga because we have a meeting here this evening. It is always fun to be back in Málaga. Today we have plans to visit with some of the incredible people I met in my first area. I am very excited to see them!

I hope you all have a wonderful week. I love you all!
