June 9, 2015 - Surprise Contact from Visitors

Occasionally throughout the mission we have received surprise pictures, texts and emails from people visiting the area Elder Farrell is serving in - always a fun surprise!

"My family & I are here & ran into these wonderful missionaries. They are a great example for my boys. They send their love."

zone meeting

What a nice email today! It was so great to hear all of the updates. Today for p-day an investigator took the 6 of us missionaries around. It was pretty fun! We were able to see some neat things.... I have been able to see a lot here!;) Sorry I have been so bad at emailing the details home, it really is just hard because I feel like we do the same thing every week – ha. We do have a lot of cool experiences in between! I write them all in my journal though, so no worries;) Elder Letts and I are just working hard. I am getting to know the new area a bit more, which is nice. Church was really nice yesterday; we had a sweet sweet experience with an old investigator. She just came up to us and thanked us for everything we had taught her. She also gifted us each (Elder Quispe and I) with a fĂștbol scarff. It was so sweet! This next week we don´t have anything too exciting planned. Just a good week of hard work!
We really do meet wonderful people. It will be fun just to sit and answer your questions! My new area is a 5-minute walk from my last. The area is decently big, but I am getting a grip on it!
Yes, I am still in the same ward, but I don´t work with the same investigators. I do try hard to keep in touch though. Well, we are just about to head out so I will say goodbye right now. I sure love you so much.

June 1, 2015

Hello! Here we are again! This past week was a good, quick one! Quickly in response to your tired comment, haha yes I was a bit tired that day. Elder Letts was super sick the night before, so I was up trying to take care of him. But I am feeling a lot more rested now! Haha thanks:) It was such a fun surprise to see the Conleys. We got to church a little bit late because we were picking up some investigators, but when we got there and were seated, I took a moment to stretch and gather my surroundings.. .and there was a nice looking family with a familiar face but not familiar hair.. haha I just grinned and knew it was him. It was cute talking to his fam after,  his mother gave me a big hug! Other than that, the biggest highlight of the week was of course.... the I PADS. They are unreal. It has been so much fun to learn how to use them, our capacity and limits as missionaries has just shot out of the roof. It is really so cool. Obviously we have a limited use of them being missionaries, but I now have a stronger testimony that this technology truly was provided to hasten the work of Salvation. What a fun time to be a missionary. Today we are just here in Malaga for Concilio. Crazy that this will be the last one for Pres and Herm Deere. I cannot believe that my friends are now getting home. I got a nice email from Tanner and Nate  today, I am excited to join them here in a bit. The time is going quick. Also, thank you so so so much for sending me that list of things to do. I will get that to them. I sure love you!
